Ghost Spider is the fifteenth episode of Spider Riders. It first aired in Canada on July 30, 2006 on Teletoon.

Summary[]
After seeing what he believes to be a ghost spider, Hunter has lots of bad luck so his friends find ways to break the curse.
Plot[]
Legend says whoever sees a shadow of a dancing spider will be cursed, unless the person sees the shadow again (which will remove the curse). Hunter Steele sees the shadow. Corona then tells Hunter the tale of the Ghost Spider. The story goes: There once lived a beautiful princess who was much beloved, but one day a jealous witch placed a spell upon her. She was transformed into a spider-like monster and never heard from again. Anyone that sees the ghost spider will have bad luck until they see her again. At first Hunter dismisses this, even though Shadow points out that the stories in Arachna have facts. Seconds later Hunter has people and items fall on him. Corona does tell Hunter she warned him but Hunter still wants to dance. Igneous and Magma decide to help but it doesn't work After Igneous and Magma catch a glimpse of the ghost, Hunter begins to believe in the Ghost Spider. After telling the Prince what they saw, but also the bad luck that happened to them. The Prince tells the three they are not to attend the ball which disappoints them, despite their pleads, the answer remains no.
Hunter decides to go on search of the ghost along with Magma, Igneous, and Corona. There first attempts fail. Trouble happens when Magma and Igneous are now unable to go to the dance. In the end it turns out the ghost was nothing more than Princess Sparkle, practicing her dancing with Hotarla. With the mystery solved, all the Spider Riders are allowed to attend the party. Only Hunter and Corona wished they practiced they're dancing more but the two of them are content to spend time together.

- The princess in Corona's story closely resembles Princess Sparkle, except in that she is obviously a few years older than Sparkle.
- It is shown for the first time that Corona is a bad cook because her stew made Magma ill. This becomes a running gag in the show.
- The scene where Hunter Steele gets slipped and falls into the hole is just like the Crash Bandicoot from the video game series is used Sound Ideas, WHINE, CARTOON - SHELL SCREAMING WHINE DOWN in International Dub Version. It is a reference of falling sounds from Crash Bandicoot 1,2 Cortex Strikes Back,3: Warped,Crash Team Racing and The Wrath of Cortex.
- The falling sounds is only different in Japanese version, Referenced like Crash Bash,Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure,N-Tranced,Nitro Kart,Twinsanity,Purple Ripto's Rampage,N. Sane Trilogy,Nitro Fueled and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time with some different sounds
- A possible reference to the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Hunter Steele slips into the hole might be a reference to Crash Bandicoot accidentally falling into the void, both closely referenced falling sounds.
- In Japanese Version, Hunter slips into the hole with some different sound, Which is unlike a International Dub.
- WHINE, CARTOON - SHELL SCREAMING WHINE DOWN is not available on Japanese Version and Netflix and Sony's Uncut Dub Version
