Celpido is a giant centipede-type Invectid once under the command of Big Four member Buguese. Celpido caused sinkholes in a village in an attempt to wreak havoc. His true mission, distract the Spider Riders long enough for Buguese and Aqune to find access to the shrine of the Spirit Oracle and her Key. While Celpido was eventually killed in battle with the riders, his mission could be considered a success.

- Celpido is the first Invectid machine to have the power of speech. He also has feelings, which may mean he is organic. Possibly even a cyborg of some type.
- Celpido is not treated as a sentient Invectid in the original japanese dub.
